Testimony is finished from the lawyer who represented the two women at the center of Donald Trump's New York trial is done testifying. The prosecution claims a 130-thousand dollar payment to Daniels was part of a "hush-money" scheme to influence the 2016 election. On a call between the lawyer and former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen played for the court, Cohen is heard saying, "Who else would do that for somebody? Who else? I did. Because I cared about the guy."        College campuses across the U.S. continue to see pro-Palestinian protests. Early this morning, Los Angeles police moved in to clear an encampment on UCLA's campus. Meanwhile, Columbia University announced all classes and final exams will go remote for the rest of the school year due to what it called "an evolving campus environment."        Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has signed a bill that repeals the state's near-total ban on abortion. Two Republicans joined with all Democrats in the state Senate Wednesday in voting to repeal the 1864 law that was upheld by the Arizona Supreme Court last month. With the repeal, the state's 2022 law that bans abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy will be reinstated.       The Libertarian Party's convention this month will be headlined by former President Trump. His campaign confirmed Trump will speak in Washington, DC to "address concerns voiced by its members." Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. earlier ruled out a run as a Libertarian candidate, and it's not clear it he's attending.       Four-hundred jobs worldwide will be cut by Peloton and the company's CEO is stepping down. The exercise bike giant went through a boom during the pandemic when people were stuck at home, but sales have dropped dramatically since then. It also plans to close retail showrooms and overhaul its international sales plan.        Two more teams can advance to the second round of the NBA Playoffs tonight. First, the Indiana Pacers will try to eliminate the Milwaukee Bucks in Game Six. Then, the New York Knicks will attempt to knock out the 76ers in Philadelphia.
