TikTok faces a ban in the U.S. A Senate bill tied to a broader foreign aid package expected to clear the chamber tonight. The legislation would force TikTok's China-based parent company ByteDance to sell the app or face a ban from U.S. devices and networks.        Former President Trump is attacking the validity of his trial following a second day of testimony. Trump said the trial is being conducted at the behest of President Biden to keep him off the campaign trail. Earlier, witness for the prosecution David Pecker said when he ran the "National Enquirer" he funneled payments through Trump's lawyer Michale Cohen to kill a story about an alleged affair with a playboy model.        Donald Trump blames President Biden for the escalating anti-Israel protests on college campuses. The former President is calling it a "disgrace" and blaming Biden for sending the wrong signals on Israel's conflict with Hamas. Trump compared the heavy police presence at his New York trial to the lack of law enforcement at nearby universities facing protests. The protests have led to arrests and reports of antisemitic rhetoric, prompting Jewish leaders to advise students to stay away from campuses.        A bill to allow the arming Tennessee teachers with guns is heading to the governor's desk. The bill allows for specially-trained teachers to carry handguns in their classrooms, and parents would not know if their kids' teacher was armed or Republican Governor Bill Lee has indicated support for the measure, but says he needs to see all the details before signing.        The Federal Trade Commission is banning noncompete agreements. According to the FTC, about 18-percent of the workforce in the U.S. is covered by these agreements, which stops them from working for competitors or starting a new competing business when leaving a job. That's about 30-million people. Pro-business groups are expected to try to use legal action to block the rule from going into effect.       A Minnesota state senator is being charged for allegedly breaking into her estranged stepmother's home to retrieve her deceased father's ashes. Nicole Mitchell's arrest could impact the Democrats' one-seat majority in the Minnesota Senate, potentially hindering their legislative agenda. Investigators say she told them that "Clearly I'm not good at this."
